So I got a 20$ WJ evic off eBay in alright shape sold as “untested” so I assume it doesn’t work, but more importantly did some reading and found out the temp sender is wired different in the XJ and WJ(of course). The EVIC is apparently fed by a signal wire in the OBDII bus that isn’t even wired...
I prefer to have a factory fob instead of aftermarket, just cause.
Roboto, that’s tempting but if I cut mine, I was thinking I’d have the compartments and all rear of the sunroof, in other words I’d still plan to use the entire thing.
I’d much prefer the WJ route, wonder if I can use one with...
For starters, I did search and didn’t really find much to answer what I’m thinking, although I did find Mr Roboto’s post and see someone out there has actually cut down a OHC.🤔

I searched here and google about the dynomax catback exhaust for my nearly stock Cherokee before I bought it, and after installing it and not being satisfied because the final kick in the tailpipe section causes it to rattle/vibrate against my shackle(lift shackle).
I know lots of people run...
deffinatlly if you go by someone elses measurement you could end up with a DS too short or too long or maybe an acceptable length but you measuring means only buying it once for sure
good luck,
