    91 4.0 aw4 This is my son's truck but I try to keep it running for him. The darn thing starts but goes to 2500 rpm max and spits and sputters. I retrieved code 23 and 51 and looked them up. (MAT and o2 sensors) I pulled the ECM fuse and cleared the codes. I wanted to drive it to see if it set...

    Did Autozone erase the codes for you? If so I would drive it some more to see if it happens again. 132 is o2 sensor.

    Look at Trouble starting must floor it? on here. Similar to your problem. On 96 the FPR is part of the fuel pump in the tank and really expensive.

    If you can, go to Autozone and have them read the OBDII codes. They are more definative as there may be more than one P code to go with your 33.
