Awh, nevermide. I looked underneath the jeep and found it. Looks like it's held on with about 4 or 5 bolts. Too cold and dark here in Indy to mess with it today.
Thanks guys for your help. It was suggested to me by a body shop to put automotive seam sealer around the edge of the base that scews down around the neck. It will hold up around gas better than silicone.
I would assume then I just have to loosen the main hose leading to the tank (not the vent hose) and I can pull it up alittle more. Is this correct or do the both need removed? I just want to lift it up more so I can get some silicone under there.

Did the dremel thing this morning and it turned out great !! Went through 7 metal cutting wheels and it took about an hour. I left the upper lip there right above the holes and touched it up and painted. I really didn't want to buy a angle cutter that I would only use once. In fact on my way...
Today is the day for the front fender trim and I have never used an angel grinder before. I do have a dremmel though with lot's of cut off wheels.
How long do you all think it would take to do the job using a dremmel? I'm going to take the cut to under the lip just above the holes.
I did a search and can't find it. Need to know if I buy welding cable to go to stock locations, what length cables do I need for the positive and negative? thanks
