I second what chuckd said, pull the front shaft first, you could have a worn slip yoke, or worn out cv. even though you dont use 4wd that front shaft still spins all the time, its probably worn out. If in doubt, with the shaft out take it to a drive line shop and have them check it.

I forgot a couple of things. it also has a dynomax cat back system. a viper alarm used as a valet, only locks and unlocks doors, shock sensor and siren are not installed but I have them, just dont like alarms. also a new mopar carrier, carrier bearings and some pinion bearings I think, have...

I was on the Rubicon last weekend with only a 3.5" lift, 31's, couple of skids, rock rails and open front and rear. we only had to stack rocks one time. you just have to be careful and know what your vehicle and driver are capable of. by the way my wife did the driving.

I did the exact same lift on my 98 and started with the t case drop about a year ago. great lift, should have gone with the replacement rear leafs and just recently installed the sye and new shaft because it still had vibes with the drop kit. I got my kit direct from RE because I live close and...

I had one missing on the passenger side, replaced it with a nice fat cotter key. drops in from the top and lightly expanded on the bottom, hasn't moved...

just to add a little more info, I just installed a cluster out of an '01 into my 98 and it worked perfectly.
