advantages to front locker and rear ls

I love this one! Live in Buffalo. (Yes, we see snow) For the type of woods/creek/ravine running we do here, give me two identical Jeeps; one locked in the front, only, and the other locked only in the rear. I'll take the front-locked every time. For those that say, "the front will plow...

Disabling AC in winter -- does yours do this, too?

Ah, makes sense! Anyway to keep the AC from kicking on? Obviously, it's beneficial to some degree, then. But it's annoying to be pulling forward every 15 seconds or so!

Disabling AC in winter -- does yours do this, too?

Does anyone else have this issue? Have you been at a red light with your foot lightly on the brake, waiting for your turn to go and then it seems as if the AC kicks in -- and the RPMs go up ever so slightly, but enough to have your Jeep pull forward? I notice this ONLY happens when the...

UPDATE! I'm senile! I responded that I do not have a Tcase drop .. but I do! With the TCase drop it works very well. Fordtech, you should have called me out as a liar on this one!

3.5" RE lift, 3/4" tcase drop, shims friday, no vibes

Rest easy ... you should be in good shape. I have a 3.5" RE superride lift, no TC drop, no shims and life is good. (2000 Sport) If there are no vibes and everything is okay on and off the road, enjoy!

    Foglights

Go under there, and pop off the foglight (one bolt.) Take the bulb out of the back and check the wires. It is likely the ground in the light is making intermittent contact. I reconfigured it a little, got a good ground and they work fine.

3 inches of Lift with Stock LCA's

Actually, it's a good question .... Raising your Jeep will affect Caster, the whole reason why there are longer and adjustable LCAs. However, I have a 3.5" RE lift with my 00 Cherokee and the LCAs are still fine. When I got it aligned the mechanic commented how "in spec" it was. With the...
