    those with aussie front lockers....

At first, I couldn't hear it ratchet with the windows up. Now it is very noticable, even with the radio on. I have also noticed that lately it seems like it takes a while to unlock after I shift back to two wheel drive. It still pulls when turning for a while before it frees up and ratchets...

    those with aussie front lockers....

Mine is pretty loud too, seems to be much more noticable than when I first installed it. I have had people in parking lots come running over telling me my wheels were falling off. I just assumed it was normal...

What would you rather get (if you had to)

If you lower the back to decrease the drive line angle does it not increase the angle of the front shaft? How come I never here of front driveshaft problems? Cause it already has a double cardan?

    Chrysler 8.25 worth Locking?

No need to get a new carrier if you are going to add a lunch box locker, just get the 29 spline axles and locker and you're good to go.

    Lock right vs. Detroit?

I was told the rear is in production (29 spline) and will be shipping soon. I just did the front and can't wait to do the rear. BTW, there is no tire size or horsepower limit for the Aussie.

    Locker, front or rear?

I just put an aussie in the front of mine and I can't imagine the rear working better. My web research indicated the front only would perform better in climbing situations. While I have not run a rear only set up, the increase in traction I have now while climbing is unreal, slippery root...

    Should I buy these axles?

Thank you, I called and the front diff was off set to the wrong side.

    Should I buy these axles?

I have the opportunity to buy a set of complete Dana 44 axles from a J10 for $80.00. I have an XJ and am not sure if they can be modified to fit either front or rear. This seems pretty cheap, are they worth buying to resell/trade?

    Quadratec question

I bought the HD and regret it, wish I had bought RE. They are so stiff that I only 5" of travel. I will be replacing soon. On a positive nite, they tow great and you don't need the rear OR front sawy bar anymore, it just doesn't move.

    Need a measurement of... ASAP

Yup. In the rear I used new HD rear springs from Quadratec and 1" Daystar shackles at first but was still too low, no vibes though. Then I cut the eyes off of my old main leafs and put them in the new packs. This gave me 21 1/2", perfect except I now had vibrations. Dropping the TC an 1" got...

    Need a measurement of... ASAP

My 93 was 17" center of hub to bottom of stock flare, which is pretty close to factory height I believe. Now with (new)V8 GC coils and 1 3'4" spacer I am at 21 1/4".

    NP231 tail cover?

Mine too, the shift rail should only protrude 1", any longer and it should be cut/ground back.
