A ZJ doesn't have leaf springs. The MJ should be similar, if not the same. I'm actually wondering for a YJ, but I know it's pretty much the same as a YJ.

Easy question... but I don't have a Cherokee anymore, so I can't check. What's the leaf spring width... center pin to center pin?

I had this up for sale last year, but I changed my mind on selling it. I have only driven it 8K miles in the past year, so the logical thing to do is sell it. I've had it for 7 years and bought it at 63K miles. Oil has been changed every 3K -5K miles. 1998 Jeep Cherokee 172K miles 4.0/AW4/NP231...

Both 3M and Permatex make a spray "Headliner Adhesive". They're both available thorugh NAPA.

I've got 170K on it; I'll check the fuel pump by "priming" it. I'm not too anxious about replacing the pump (assuming it is bad). My gas tank skid plate bolts are rusted to the frame. I also checked the battery already. It's good.

Last weekend I replaced my exhaust manifold, downpipe, cat, muffler, tailpipe, and motor mounts. I obviously had to unplug the majority of the sensors on the intake, both O2 sensors, and the fuel line. I plugged everything back up correctly ( I assume) afterwards, and it runs great and even...

I decided not to sell it. For some dumb reason I'm real attached to it, even though I never drive it. I'll see how I feel in another year.
