I wish I was smarter than this, eh, Ill just up my post count. Anyway, since I cant edit my post.. If you are going to use the WJ axle vs XJ, then you should be able to use the CV axles and not the Ujoint axle shafts.

I think the wj dana 30 has slightly different location and perch size for the springs, different location for control arm bracket. I know the track bar bracket is over axle instead of under. It is also like 3" wider than the xj dana 30 When I tried doing the swap, i basically bought a WJ...

I tried the WJ brake/knuckle swap using CV instead of u-joint axles. Do not use a CV axle, it will bind just enough to where it will not track straight. It was a very frustrating and scary at the higher speeds. This is even with the spacer welded on.

Actually some d30 from the WJ came with some type of LSD. I had one sitting in my garage when I attempted the WJ brake upgrade. The issue is, the carrier is not centered where the shafts go into. You would have to basically lengthen one shaft and shorten the other, even if you used the XJ/ZJ...

I have their Upper and lower, Front stage 1 Rear stage 2, on my ZJ. Very happy with them, just make sure you tighten the lock nut and they are quiet.

No, because the members here are way more active and i know i would have gotten now responses or thoughts of which direction to go. If it was gc related, them i would have, but being a dana 30 with the same (ish) setup as an xj, I could use the same principals.

What I meant by "more space", was when i first put everything together, I tried seeing what issues I was going to have since I was using CV axle shafts and everything I read they used the 1/4" spacer for ujoint axles so I mocked everything up to see what issues I would have. Spacer is needed...
