You need a noid light to see if they're getting signal. If you dont have a mechanic's stethoscope take a long screw driver put one end to the inj body and the other to your ear (handle end). You can hear it ticking. Or unplug the injector
I know they're the same part number but is there a difference on how they mount? I tore up the splines on my xj so figured kill 2 birds with one stone and get a ZJ with the pitman arm. I'm getting it used btw from a buddy. It's a 93 ZJ going on a 98. Thanks
Stuck injector possibly. Since it does it cold it's probably dripping fuel in your cylinders over night. You can test it by pulling the inj rail and place a paper towel under it over night. By morning the paper towel (white) should be stained.
I have a 98 with the original ball joints. I haven't done the actual test on it but when I was installing outer diff seals I noticed the pass side spindle turns a lot easier than the drivers. I have to really apply force to turn it and that's with the tie rod off. I have cash strictly for PM...
Yeah I will definitely keep the tires same brand tires on one axle. I know too well how that rear Aussie reacts.

I'm in the same boat right now. My main concern is the wet carpet holding moisture. I'm thinking about cutting out the carpet (floors only) and leaving the trans tunnel part intact. Exposed floor will be Herculined. If noise is an issue I'll experiment with my wife's thick yoga mat.
