My 96 has one and only came with the am/fm radio

Your cooler could be stopped up. My 96 was doing the same thing. When i added a add-on cooler and bypassed the stock one, the problem quit. I think my problem is my radiator is running hot.

Wet dog smell in ac.

My 96 started burping it out the front seal this summer. Added an aftermarket(hayden ) cooler. Left original cooler disconnected. Problem solved.

How do you guys wire up the lights on top of your rigs with hacking a hole somewhere in the body? Almost got my homemade roof rack finished.

My 96 started burping fluid this summer. You had to drive it 20 miles or more and get it hot to do it . I added an aftermarket cooler and seems to fixes the problem.

Are you sure this isn't some kind of condensation? Does it have any kind of smell?

Posted a question a copule weeks ago about my 96 auto overdrive blowing fluid out the front seal when hot. Fixed it with a add-on cooler. Just passing along info in case it might help someone else. Great site, youall are in my favorites list now.

OK, thought I had a chrysler trans but it is the japanese trans. Anyway I changed my fluid today. NASTY!!!! Could this cause fluid to suddenly to start to blow out front seal when hot? It seems ok now, but I haven't got it good and hot yet.

Found my vent tubes. The one for the trans. and for the transfer case come up by the dipstick connected to the end of rubber hoses. Do not appear to be plugged though.

Can anybody tell me the location of the vent tube on my 96 auto overdrive 4wd? Drove it about 30 miles and ideled around in the pasture checking cattle, on the way home it blew out about a quart out the front seal.

Hey youall just found you. I have a 96 sport 4.0 4wd auto overdrive. 90,000 plus miles going strong. 235 75 all terrian tires ( wife was drivin' at the time), brush guard, building roof rack at present time, aftermarket steering stabilizer,planning on better shocks, better exhaust. Its my daily...
