    Gray Rock Meet and Greet

Well, as it turns out, my kids' karate camp down in Dothan is the same weekend as this ride so I'm going to have to bow out. Hate to miss this but it may be for the best as my XJ can't go over 45 mph right now without feeling like it's going to fall apart. I think it just lost some balancing...

    really ugly fluid

Thanks for the help. If tranny fluid is getting into the coolant (which should now be fixed with the new radiator) is it possible for coolant to get into the tranny fluid? If so, do I need to drain and fill the tranny, just in case?

    really ugly fluid

Last night while I was swapping out the original radiator our of my '95 XJ I noticed that the fluid was really "ugly". Brown in color. As I started checking around I noticed that the reserve bottle was dirtly (very dirty) so I hosed it out pretty good. My initial thought was dirt--though it...

Drivetrain vibes 3" lift and 8.25 rear

For many (lucky) folks, the 1" T-case drop is all that they need with a 3" lift. People with NP231s are usually more "lucky" than folks with the newer T-case. However, if the t-case drop took care of the problem, . . . I wouldn't worry too much about it. If your lift included aal's then it...

    GrayRock Ride/Meet Greet

Yes, finally I will get to play in Alabama!! I am really looking forward to it. The past 18 months have been crazy (wife pregnant with twins, broken bones, and taking the family to Disney World--since we're now close enough to drive--instead of wheeling). Now that all of that stuff is out of...

    GrayRock Ride/Meet Greet

If there's still room, I'd like to go, if not, I don't want to be the guy that causes the "crowd". (31's and open) FYI, I just looked at the GrayRock website and they don't have this on the calendar yet.

    EZ Locker VS Lock Right

The Detroit EZ Locker is not made by GG, it is made by the same company that makes the rest of the Detroit Locker line-up. There are several threads on here that compare the different brands of "lunchbox" locker--lockers that fit inside the OEM carrier. I've never heard anything good on here...

Rock rail + Nerf bar recommendations?

I tried to place an order a couple of weeks ago and only recently heard back from him. He just had surgery on his knee (a few weeks ago) but he is up and running now. He just sent me an email saying that he has completed a batch of rockrails of which I have purchased a set. If you don't hear...

    running hot!!!!!!

you probably already know this but when your XJ starts running hot there are a few things to check/replace before you to to anything expensive: T-stat (cheap and easy to replace should be done regularly anyway), check the radiator cap's ability to hold presure, if it is not holding pressure...

Stock T-case Skid Plate and extended from Bump Stops

All items are still available. I haven't checked on shipping charges yet. My guess would be between $15 to $20 to ship the skid.

Stock T-case Skid Plate and extended from Bump Stops

I've got a stock t-case skid plate that I have been using on my 1995 XJ. It is in excellent condition (no dents or scratches). $20.00 plus shipping I've also got a pair of Daystar front-upper extended bump stops (black). XJ's have two different diameters of these, these are the larger of the...

I need some rocker guards/sliders shipped to 36830, quote?

    First lift

This is a very normal problem and happens to everyone who does a lift. I pulled on my axle with a tow strap to get it to line up with the lower control arms. It takes two people, one to pull and one to line them up and pop the bolt through. I've heard of others doing it with more...

Replacement Rock Rails or Bolt on Rock Rails

For those of you who have AJ's stuff, how did you order them? I can't find ordering info on his website and have sent him an email with no reply. Is there a secret handshake I need to learn before I can get some of these? Thanks, clay

    3.5

You will also need an adjustable trackbar (or relocate you stock one), longer front brake lines (or straightened and relocated stock ones) and plenty of liquid wrench (applied daily for a week prior to install). I think most on here would recommend an adjustable trackbar and replaced, longer...
