since you already have the brace, and because of the horror stories i have heard about the steering box on the xj, i dont think it will be overkill. one guy i knew had a plate that looked kind of like one of c-rocks, just looked like it i might add, and he still had his box pull through. he was...
with a well thought out bracket you can do anything, thats why they are reffered to as "well thought out". but if you just put a d-ring and a bolt through it, thats not exactly well thought out, and it would definitely tear up your frame. as some one said before all the frame is made out of is...
only 200, i thought someone said that the carrier had to be pulled. i have no idea what would have to be done to do these, but if the carrier had to be pulled i figured it would be expensive
if i were you i would trade, but it iall depends on what you mean by "my jeep will get wheeled hard". will you wheel it hard enough to need a d60 up there or hard enough that the built 30 would handle what you throw at it? everyones definition of wheeling hard is different
Everyone is right here and i hate to repeat stuff but oh well.
for sure keep that track-bar on the top of your list, with the stock unit your axle will be "off track" with the rest of the vehicle, and don't forget an alignment after the install.
As far as the tires, i had a 3" lift with...
what i think they were talking about was re-indexing the transfer case, this is basically rotating the transfercase so that the front output yoke "hangs" down farther below the truck then it did in stock form, which in turn would make a less extreme angle in which the driveshaft would have to...
i think he newer 4.o's use two tps's one for the pcm and another for the trans. control module(for kickdown purposes) i think that is the only difference
alright on the 90(your harness) brown/white-ground, yellow/green-tps output, light blue- reference voltage(5 volts from ecu) on your 99 tps grey=reference, blue=tps output, black =ground im not sure if it will work but give it a try to see
each of the tps's use three wires, a ground, a reference(.5 volts from computer), and an output wire all you would have to do(i think) would be re wire them to where the specific wires match up ill do a little home work to let you know which is which
