Thanx for the response guys. I have looked at several units some say they will talk 7 miles and others that say they talk 50 miles..I was kinda wondering if the good ones are worth the money or just stay with the inexpensive ones like you guys bought.

Just out of curiousity how did the FRS radios work at this event.. Was there enough range for what they were intended for. I'm interested in these for our club functions because as we all know most CBs have issues.

I have a brand new winch cable and roller fairlead that I would like to see someone else use. It came on my new vr 8000 winch but I went to rope and hawse fairlead so these were installed but removed the next weekend.
I'd like $150.00 for the set.
I'm finally getting around to mounting the VR 8000 winch i have owned for almost a year.
I built a bumper that keeps the winch very low as to not block my radiator,then it came time mount the solenoid box. It don't really want it on the front of the jeep because of the airflow and bashing it on...
Robert you should just trade me so i can avoid all the hassle of rebuilding Ricks stuff. Its basically the same setup. Waggy 44 front 488 g2 gears and shafts, spool. Rear is also waggy 44 with 488 g2 gears and shafts and a detroit with disk brake conversion and is already setup for coil springs...
