I have a 99 xj with a 8.25 rear axle that has an extremely pitted and beat up rear driveshaft. I have a driveshaft available to me from a 95 with a d35 that is in great shape. Are there any differences in the two driveshafts? Thanks, Buz

If you get under your xj and twist the driveshafts back and forth while in park, how much or how little) should they turn back and forth?

I need to replace the hardlines on a 90 xj that run from the rear wheel cylinders to center axle. Can I get these pre-made from the dealer? It seems like most people here are just making their own, bending and flaring, I can't seem to find replacement lines from advance, autozone, etc...

silent bob... all of them, you should know, you responded to my 1st post that was mysteriously deleted after my response to your post. So to verify, all my car keys were stolen from my house and I need to replace locks and ignition cylinders on a 90 xj, 99 xj, 97 zj, and an 02 toyota highlander.

So how hard is it to change out the locks and ignition cylinder?

I replaced my front calipers today but I stripped the threading where the bottom bolt goes on the drivers side. Its holding in there, just not really tight. How do I fix this screw up, if I retap it I don't think the next size bolt would fit in the caliper. Any suggestions? Thanks, Buz
