I put my jeep in the shop and yes the mechanic thinks the cps is bad but there is not one in town so he'll have to order one because my trans is a jeep instead of a dodge whatever that means.
We'll I've managed to get it into the shop and mechanic said looks like everything is pointing to the cps. So, nowhere in town is there one like mine bacause he said it was a jeep trans. instead of a dodge so he's had to order the part and looks like two more days.
my rig now shows a check engine light since I messed with it a little, all plugs are pluged back up like they were. I hooked the battery and hooked back up and it still reads check engine.
I think im geting no spark I pulled a plug gave her a crank and seen no spark, when I plug and unplug cps plug I can hear relays click what does that mean?
Well I finally got a chance to mess with my rig and as far as I can tell I'm not getting a spark. I took a plug out and grounded the side while trying to start it and never seen a spark. I can smell gas so I figure I'm getting gas. I can also unplug the connector for the cps while the key is on...
my rig has set for over 2 days and still wont fire, so what ever it is it's dead. I've tried the turn key for 10 sec trick and that didn't work also I've checked connections at the coil and several other places. I was hoping someone would know how to jump or bypass the cps so I could try that.

would the fuel pump quit all at once? seem like when I started it that morning it reved up pretty high untill I put it in gear, then it seemed normal no other warnings. I did notice it rev up which I thought was abnormal but paid it no mined and drove on to work, or at leased I tryed.
whats the best way to check this and would this keep it from starting? do you suggest checking something else the valve stem on the fuel bar spays gas when i push it, it bleeds out then i crank it over again check the valve stem again and can make it spray with pressure again, so i think maybe...
