id would have to say pro-comp mt's bought a set looked similar to the bfg pattern which were great. wheeled one weekend then set in garage load up and not unload eventully sold them when people would come over askign about those brandnew tires over on the wall.

had same problem with mine tried to tap it and couldnt get it to budge so i drilled it out then re threaded with new bolt its a pain. just while drilling try hard as you can to keep it on center. good luck glad those days are behind

I doubt it the torqe converter but to check just pull the lower dust cover off and spin the flywheel around gently with a prybar and see it their loose or not might just be the dust cover ratteling loose aswell
