    NY Inspections

I'm down in NYC, Manhattan actually. My jeep stays in Jersey most of the time. This is great news about the laws. Doubt there are any 4x4 friendly places, but it could also be helpful simply because they don't see many (if any) lifted jeeps. Thanks guys for the help!

    NY Inspections

Hello, I know this topic is asked about a lot and I searched, but just wasn't able to find the info I needed. I am in the process of registering my Jeep in NY State, it was reg. in Cali. Its a 98XJ, 5.5"RE lift, 33's, rigidco bumper and of course a bunch of other doo-dads. I need to know what...

Got the re3.5 sf installed but...

is your axle lined up? you may need to re-drill your trackbar mount, cause if its hittin on one side, on the sway bar end (not the axle end) then a simple 3/4" shift of the trackbar could pull the axle over enough. i know i had troubles getting one of the sway bar disconnects to line up before i...

the gap is still there with the 231. i ended up having to use all three of the spacer plates, but that's partly due to my RE LCA drop bracket/brace.

Help me understand angle, driveshaft, and T-case drop thing

don't mean to state the obvious....but you do know that the Tom Woods shaft is supposed to be longer than your stock one? Once you install the RE H&T SYE it should fit, it might be fully compressed though. Are you getting any vibes? even if you aren't you should definitely install the SYE...

35's on 4.5 inches of lift?

Trxus MT's are great. quiet on the road and they actually measure their advertised height! cheaper than MTR's too

    Hack and Tap SYE

Just take your time and go slow! Even if you take your time cutting, drilling, and tapping, the whole install will probably only take 1-2 hours at most. It really just sounds more difficult than it really is. Also, there is a little room for error in drilling the hole in the center of the output...
