I run them on my '87 and mine idles right around 700. They were already on there when I bought my XJ so I don't know if there was anything special done to get them to run right.
Was thinking of staying under and replacing the passenger side end with a straight TRE instead of the bent and adding the spacers to all the TRE's. Would have to have something to compare but I think going over would require a whole lot more fabrication which I might consider doing but like I...
Anyone who decided to not use this setup want to sell it? I'm sitting at 5" and I've done my hw and this looks like it'll work for me and if not it'd be a good basis for a new steering system.
Ooops must have missed that. I live on the other side of the mountain and we rarely have any trouble with the cops around here. I do travel through your neck of the woods a good bit so I guess I'll just have to be careful and hope cops don't bother me.
I've got a set of 30" BFG AT's on stock 5 spoke star wheels that have about 70% tread left that I might be interested in trading or I have a set of 235/75/15 BFG long terrains on 5 spoke star wheels that are probably a lot closer to the wear you have. Do the wheels rub at all? PM me an e-mail...
Not local but I have a set of 4.5" TJ front springs that should be coming out next week when my new 6" springs come in. Right now my '87 sits at 4" up front with a warn transformer brush guard.
