i was actually asleep when they were delivered so i dont physically have them yet, but my friend got his today. said they were delivered in seperate boxes and were flattened out (reclined all the way back) and shipped seperate like that. its possible its 39 per seat b/c its two seperate boxes

Mstrkage, 88's do have v6..sort of...theyre I6. and to the OP, here are the specs ( i have an 88 tow package) rear Dana 44 (cant beat that!) gears: 3.73:1 (if you have the I6 w/ towing) or, Dana 44 has 3.54:1 if you don't have the towing package...you'll know if it has the button on the dash...

ha, thats funny everybody finds such random crap under the carpet. i'm gonna weld in sheets where the holes are...good idea about doubling up around the exhaust area, one of the holes i have is right above the cat, so i'm sure i should double up there at least.

anyone ever ordered a grant steering wheel off of rocky-road? if so, was it a good purchase? is the install easy? (88xj) it seems like the cheapest grant wheel (with install kit included) i could find.

hey thanks for the reply/write up. question: what if the bolt is literally welded in there by welding and rust? i dont think its possible to get it 'unstuck' b/c its been in there 20 years and the rust is overwhelming on the xj. if im not able to get it out, what other methods do you/anyone...

while putting on a lift and putting the shocks back on, we broke the bolt/nut to connect the shock to the shock mount (driver's side/back). The rest of the bolt was welded into the mount. Anyway, the question is, what should I do w/ this situation? Should I weld in factory replacement shocks...
