Now that the cold weather is finally here, my 2.5l 4-cyl (throttle-body injected) XJ is not liking it. Last winter it didn't have any problems, but this year it's idling rather roughly when dead cold.
It's never had a butter-smooth idle, but this is worse. It gets back to almost normal once...
Like the title says, I need a windscreen for my '86.
Mine has a crack on the passenger side that has now migrated past the mirror and is slowly encroaching to the driver's vision.

The people in this country who say no to lowering it because that will encourage teen drinking are probably the same wackos who think that sex education in schools encourages teen pregnancy. News flash, teens already drink...a lot. The answer isn't barring 18 year olds from drinking, because...
I just used some cheapo power steering fluid.
I should probably flush/bleed the steering system and get all fresh stuff in there, but this will do for now.
Well, I put a reman starter in, and that did the trick for now.
My old starter was just a mess, and I think it was original. I didn't even bother with taking it apart. Oil, filth, rust...it was all there in spades.
Well, the new pump is just a reman OEM. The AMC fluid spec is '8993342'
A limited amount of Googling suggests that the AMC 8993342 spec and Mopar 5931 spec are the same.
