I did a spring over on my 1990 MJ. It had an AAL (3") before I started.
I but 4.5 coils and a 1 3/4 BB in the front and it is still slightly lower in the front.
The best part is it doesn't have any DW or vibrations. No drive shaft mods.
$5,800 worth of Mods on a 1990 MJ.
6 inch lift and 33s.
I am in the process of adding a Dana 44 so the spending never stops.
Work in progress!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Rusty's has a MJ SOA kit that will give you every thing you need.
I had a AAL in the rear and 3" coils in in the front. When I did the SOA in the rear I added 4.5 coils and 1 3/4 BBs. It is still higher in the back.
I would suggest deciding on the tire size before you lift. If you want to...
I ran 3 inches of lift with 5.25 BS for a while. There was a little rubbing on the lower control arm at full lock. I did not think it was to bad!
Then inchitus set in :laugh3:
Wilson 1000 connected to a cobra 29.
You can put a super modulation kit in the cobra for a few bucks and out talkd most CBs with a linear amp!!!
Cannot beat this combination.
I have a flowmaster 50 and if I did it again I'd go with the 40.
It isn't very loud at all.
I believe there are sound tracks on the flowmaster web site too!
