It's definitely not gutless. I'll crawl under it Wednesday. I used my phone as a digital speedometer because I figured the speedometer was way off and it was spontaneous on.
I drove the heep today on paved roads while using my phone as the digital speedometer and low and behold the speedometer in my jeep works correctly.
Now my questions go as followed:
1) axles aren't stock meaning regeared? How do I tell if this is the case?
2) speedometer gear has been changed...
Speedometer reads correct don't know if it's been regeared or if Speedometer gear has been changed out. Assuming stock axles so 3.55s and 35s wouldn't read correctly?
It lives. Sounds like it has a nasty cam but that's because not all the Injectors are firing. 1 and 5 to be exact.
I don't own a soldering gun so not goling to attempt the Injector pigtails myself.
Leaking from the radiator just a little bit.
Also ripped out all the wiringthat wasn't stock...
Will a 03 wj steering box work in a 98 xj?
They are priced different on rockauto only reason I'm asking is because my steering gear box is leaking profusely.
Budget just went out the window. No gears. No lockers. Maybe winch. Yes long arms. Need new steering setup and passenger side out knuckle. Who sells the wj conversion kit?
For the record I currently have the np242 but want to switch to the np231. Would my current t-case play a significant role in what way I lock the front axle?
