The tube does not look like a vent tube. It has a metal tube on the end similar to the tranny lines. I built my Jepp but am not real familiar with the Tranny. The metal tube has a 90 degree bend in it. Again it does not leak fluid, but I am concerned that it may cause problems in the future...

Soo let me get this right - I can grind down the diff on the bottom to get rid of the "lip" that gets hung on stuff w/o weakening my housing. Many Thanks! Heather

Hello, I have just installed a dana 44 with a spool. It works great but gets hung up on rocks. Can I shave the bottom of the diff (where it sticks out) without causing weakness in the housing? Thanks in advance. Heather

I have an 89 XJ. There are currently 2 hoses going into the tranny on the passenger side. I have a thierd hose that came disconnected and cannot find out where it goes. It looks like it could go in to the tranny but neew some direction. Is there 3 cables (metal) pluged in to the tranny or...

I am changing the rear 44 on my XJ to a 5 on 5 1/2 bolt pattern. Does anyone know of a drum that has this bolt patten that will fit the stock D44 brakes, or do I need to change all the rear brake components. Thanks! Heather

Is there a way to disconnect only the passenger side for periodic turns. My front end is welded and it is difficult to make turns. I am hoping someone knows which vacuum cable engages the passenger side so that I will have "3 wheel" drive when disconnected. Are there any known hacks? Tried...
