i had simliar issue, starter died(or so i thought) changed it,lasted a few hours and bam, no start again.. checked the resistences on my battery cables and both were really high, so i put in new cables and the truck started right up,, might wanna start with that,,

Well after buying an o2 sensor,new timing chain and it still ran like a bag of poop, i decided to completely removed the EGR valve system, purrs like a kitten now. Just gotta change my TPS now though, has a flat spot in the acceleration around 2500-3000 where it hesitates. Thank god i live...

nope, talked to a friend of mien, he said change the o2 sensor, i hate throwing money at this thing expecially when the end result doesn't fix the original problem, but i can imagine the thing needs a new one, truck has 296k and i don't have any kind of records on the truck

well tonight i changed the timing chain and gears, needed to be done badly had like an inch of slack, timing is better, throttle response is better once it warms up but still runs like a P.O.S when its cold,gets better when its warm but not 100%?? ANY SUGGESTIONS guys? getting close to...

stock airbox etc.. it's pretty much a bone stock truck except for exhaust and the lift etc

Just got my XJ on the road, took it out wheelin today, 2hrs in and "SNAP" RF axle joint blew apart, this was my first trip out with the new truck, Used to own a samurai. totally different diffs and axles.. Anyways i'll get to the point, i have the chance to buy a d44 rubicon complete front...
