Gen II sliders

In an efffort to stiffen my Cheromanche project I made a few changes from my 2000's rail's.Increased the pinch rail from 1x1 to 1x1-1/2.Also did a double mitre on the ends.The main change was picking up the entire rear spring pocket.New mounting consists of(per side):
10>1/4" bolts(thru the pinch seam and frame rail)
2>1/2" bolts(thru the frame rail)
2>7/16" bolts(thru the front of the spring pocket)
1>1" bolt (up into the B pillar cage hoop)
1>14mm bolt thru the leaf spring mount(not shown in these pics)

I have a really old set I build back in the day and looking to install them on my 00. Any reason not to weld them on vs bolt?
