my new jeep is getting my old 3 inch rcx lift. i want to run 33 x10.5 or 9.5. what way would you run the 33s. im am willing to lift to about 4.5 to fit but i rather use stock flairs

Im trying to do same setup with cutout flares and bumps
cut out flares are a waste of money, you can get away with relocating stock flares or using tj flares

im going with Napier cut outs. Stock flares wont cover tire tread and tj flares are ugly.

33x12.5's with 3" lift, awsome setup, low and stable
how much did you trim or move flares? its hard to tell but is your front moved any? i have a 2000 xj and i would like to keep the flares but move them

How would i do it?
I would first start by lifting it 3 inches.
I would then proceed by doing some minor trimming
Followed by the installation of the new tires.
there is really no secret to it. if you want to trim less, bumpstop more. but 3" and 33's is easily achievable

thanks I'm gonna move my flares using factory brackets. bumpstop more and go for 33 by 10.5 tires. just what do you think about back spacing on the wheels. I'm think 4 or 3.75 will that be ok with 10.5 tires

doesnt directly apply but i have a 4" lift with 33x12.50
My fronts do not rub but the rears do sometimes.

yea right. full 8" of travel f/r that jam was extremely well balanced.

my comment was towards mitchen claming to have 33's on 3" of lift, no rubbing and no trimming. shouldve quoted him.
