Arrowhead golf course near Roxborough Park in SW Denver metro. I texted Mike yesterday that my much better 1/2 and I were hitched at exactly that same spot 20 years ago. Cheers, Mike :cheers:
It is. i just haven't figured out how I'm getting down there to pitch some tents and squat on a site... my guess is I'm not. It may or may not be open anyway, as snow currently has the last mile or so to the Park locked up:

East entrance to Great Sand Dunes -- there are a bunch of primative sites just outside of the park available 1st come 1st serve, but on a holiday weekend they will likely be gobbled up on Thus. night. Medano Creek hits the sand dunes and starts to have wave action as the sand holds it back, and...
We're toying with it... were going to try and hit Medano Pass, but our group is dissolving. Our main goal is to avoid crowds, idiots and two strokes. I'm old.
