today I've removed the knuckle from a D30HP pre '91 in order to install 91 version, in the bottom of the knuckle there is an adjustable insert where is fit the stud, anyone can tell me how to adjust this?
I'm looking for the dimension of the two bearing for 242 '89 front output shaft.
I've to replace those bearing but is quite difficult to find quickly in Italy spare parts, so I would like to find compatible.
I've an '89 4.0 XJ, all the rubber on the fuel line has been melted by unleaded green fuel (the only one available in italy), anyone has the same problem?
Now everything has been replaced with proper rubber lines, my concerning is now with the injector o-ring (dangerous if them start to spill on...
I'm approaching to swap in my '89 4.0 the axles from a 2.1 diesel donor that having 4.11 (I plan to go with 31"); on the rear original axle I've 10" drum on the new one I've 9", is better to keep the 10" or replace the whole axle with the 9"?
I guess the frinction surface is about the same due...
My friend have installed the rubicon axles on his car with 35", after few months has start with the first failure, broken front shaft (760); never had problem before with 33" on d30/35.
Is the rubicon d44 strong like the others?
yesterday I've do allignment and I've discovered that the axles are out o parallelism, the distance front/rear on the driver side is shorter of about 1/2" then the other side.
Anyone has the same issue?
I guess previous owner had an accident on the driver side (the vacum reservoir in the left...
yesterday during rear spring removal I'd broken the nut inside the front support of the uniframe.
I've temporary fixed it by making two holes and welding in, but it's not a good work.
Anyone has already replaced the support?
Any suggestion?
