i just recharged my A/C, there was zero pressure, but me being a genious i forgot to shake the can. it only says "shake vigorously" a few dozen times on the can... should i take it somewhere that can drain it or just leave it be?
you can try what i did, using an 18" 1/2" breaker bar and a 13/16" socket(supposed to be 21mm but this fits better) and if you have a floor jack you slide it under the breaker bar and jack it up! also heating it up with a propane torch for a minute helped me as well
alright well the mechanic couldnt do it so i get to cut open my floor :looney: looking at that awesome link you sent me manche, im not sure how im going to grind the weld nuts off, i only have a 4.5" grinder and it looks like it might be too big to do it. what would be the best tool for the job...
you probably need shocks. i just replaced my leafs because the old one were bending upwards, the new ones are almost flat straight across, and the ride is actually worse. the saggy old springs kinda made up for the shocks. the new stiff springs make it really obvious that the shocks are crap...

not sure which shocks i need, my XJ is the sport model and looks a bit taller than the usual jeep, i need all 4 shocks and they need to be under $50 each. any suggestions? i tried searching threads. thanks
i dont know what brands are good, rough country shocks look nice, but they only have rear...
if the lower shackle bolt is all you need then a grade 8 (SAE equivalent of 10.9) 4" 9/16 bolt and nut works great. if you need the upper shackle bolt or your like me and needd the front bolt, you can cheat, i replaced both perfectly fine lower shackle bolts with 9/16"s bolts and used the good...
