The pump is a 2001 wj pump from 4.7 with the hydraulic fan. has xj pressure fitting drilled to 5/32. I was going to wait and try going to 3/16 but I've been told that is absolute overkill. Called Psc today they gave me a list of things to check. If you use a stethoscope you can hear its the box...
Anyone here running one? Had a stock box on 37's tons etc. Finally gave it up couldn't really turn locked. So put a modified wj pump on helped a bunch. So I bought the Psc box supposed to be a lot more powerful than stock right? put the first one on turned great to the left but anything going...
So quick update. I was able to wheel this combo at Sand Hollow this last weekend. The difference is amazing I can turn my front wheels with it locked! I could get it pretty bound up as well and no sweat. It's so much better I may now go to a psc big bore box instead of hydro assist. Very pleased...
Hey guys I always find great info here so I thought I might share. I purchased a psc pump to put on my rig. I could not come up with a suitable solution to keep the remote reservoir under the hood. I will address this later when its not snowing. So I needed a solution to make my current set up...
Was looking at picking up a 2000 has engine trouble. I have a clean great running 4.0 from a 94. So I googled what is necessary to swap them. The cps and coil pack brackets are no big deal. I really was hoping someone here had done this as to how to make the exhaust work. I will use the intake...
Was wondering if all the trans cooler lines are basically the same? I am doing a motor swap on a 98 4 door but the lines are absolutely butchered. I parted a 91 2 door has very nice lines. The ones from the 98 are so bad I cant even lay them out to try to match them up. So for future reference...
Can't seem to find an answer on this. Have 98 xj swapping motor from 91. Noticed the oil filter housing is cracked on the 91. Are the vertical and horizontal housings interchangeable?
To the OP I am currently having the exact same problem. My transfer case is a 241 OR however. Thankfully for me Novak is just 20 miles away,I also have a friend that works there. I am dropping off my rig tomorrow so they can maybe r&d the issue. I also want to add a Teraflex 2 low kit so...
Been there last three years. Sadly won't make it this year. Could not get my pile ready. Its so close now I can taste it, been down to long. Hopefully next year will have a good turnout with the trailer giveaway.
Spent the last few hours helping a friend change the transmission in his 90 XJ. We put in a 93 AW4 and 231 from same. I did not realize the Renix uses a damn speedo cable. Can you just unbolt the cable adapter from the 242 and put it on the 231? write-ups? I looked for a minute but I'm tired as...
I am almost finished mocking my three link and steering on my 93 with 60's. Due to space constraints I could only get the track bar within 1 3/4 inches of the drag link. This rig will have hydro assist. My question is there will obviously be some bumpsteer with the drag link and track bar not...
Sorry for the newb question but how do you measure link separation on a three link? Is it from center to center of the mounts? Or bottom of the tube to top of the other? Thanks...
$1200 for one regear is a ripoff even with parts. If you were closer I would help you do it yourself. Check with some of your local guys I bet someone can help....
So I got the lowers cut to mock up doesn't look like the angle is as bad as I was thinking. the axle side is twisted slightly. This should not be a problem as long as it does not bind correct? Thanks for all the help
