ya what darky said you dont need a huge lift and big tires itz a jeep not a red neck monster truck i clear 33s on my 5" and it got me every were i wanted to they say you want to fit the biggest tires you can with the smallest lift for better stability on the rocks
had same problem with my tj and xj my tj was 4" sa on 36s i could barley drive it shook realy bad i bought a new re trac bar and stoped it same with my xj has re 5.5 sa bought new trac bar and cut off my stock t-bar mount and put in a thicker bracket also i have a t-bar drop bracket and droped...
i have that same steering set up u got in that pic i had to raise my sway bar mounts up higher to clear the draglinks the on road was alot better more quicker reaction time and offroading was awsome it didnt pull side to side when i climbed rocks it felt more stiff
they make a 33 irok none derection i had 36s they were friken awsome tuff tire i want a 33 goodyear kevlar but when i call my local 4wheelparts they say no no no thier on back ordered you cant buy em for 4 months
ya i was looking at my lower arms the brackets look droped down like you were saying i get crazy flex and a good ride with my short arm set up its just you here so many people talking about how amazing it is bla bla bla
whats the deal with long arms i have short arm i see lotz of long arm upgrade kits on the market anybody here ever had short arm then went long ? is the ride and flex realy that much better to spend the dough on
haha no it was like 11 pm my time when i wrote this iam in hawaii but thanks for the advice i was told b4 that those fancy resvoirs our basicaly looks unless ur going to be jumping i see lotz of those king shocks on big diesel dodges out here on 20 inch chrome rims itz funny:D
i have a 96 xj 5.5 re sa lift on 33s i need to buy some new shocks mine our rusty and nasty will i get a noticable better ride while offroading if i buy a shock with those fancy resivors i do mostly long trails bumpy roads and some crawl time whats your guys opinion ?

i couldnt upload a pic of mine but it looks the closet to it but yes i have a tube bumper up front from smitty built.. do you think if i buy one of those books they make just for the 96 xj it would have a lay out of the plumbing for the ac vac lines ?
i have 96 xj sport inline 6 auto my ac blows out defrost only.i can see the vacum line to my cruise control has ben cut :dunno: and thier is one thats white thats not connected to anything it looks like thier is a bigger hose missing on that plastic round thing for the ac ? could you guys post...
when i bought my 96 xj the cruise dosent work and a/c only comes threw deforst along with heat and vent ? i use to have a 97 dodge ram same thing i was driveing then my a/c stoped and went threw the defrost and and cruise stoped working any ideas ?
