I can attest to the price of building the black short bed MJ. I will be near 20k when I get it done counting the original cost I paid.
I have been talking to the owner of this Cheromanche for a couple days now. I can't build it for 10k so if I want this one it is a bargain to me. Of...
Thanks for posting this up. I am currently working towards a header decision for my just rebuilt 1990 Renix. I have crossed Pacesetter OFF the list of candidates. Obvious issues and I have read several other threads where people had the same issues.
I will probably go with either the...
thanks Cruiser. I wanted to make sure the #19pounders would be enough given the mods (cam) etc.
I have the original Renix header that is mint, but wanting to provide for a better flow volume out as I will be installing a better flowing air filter system as well. I realize I will probably have...

I have decided to keep the disco housing but swap in a one piece axle and block off plate. Keep it original looking. It will get a Yukon gear 4.11 ratio r/p set with a tru-trac.
is there any advantage to swapping out the original HP Dana 30 (with vac disco) in my 1990 MJ eliminator for a non vac disco HP Dana30 from my 1999 donor XJ?
I have spare one piece axles and am also thinking about a plate and seal conversion.
any pro's or cons?
the truck is getting a 3"...
