Hey everyone! I have a 94 XJ auto that I'm in the process of preparing for a Gen III 5.3l swap. Right now I'm working on cleaning up the Jeep wiring harness.
I'm attempting to keep the Power Distribution Center (PDC) with all the relays and fuses.
My main question right now is for the...
Haven't been on NAXJA for quite a while. My Jeep has been down for a few years. Got it back up and running.
My setup:
94 XJ 4.0
NP231
AW4
RE 3.5" Super-Ride
Shimmed rear axle
TC drop about 1"
Stock tires for now
So I don't wheel a lot. Especially lately. I just replaced my rear bushings for...
When my Jeep troubles started, it would have issues staying running when the motor was hot. I'd pull up to a stop sign and it would die. It would hesitate to start. Then it got worse. I was driving down the highway one day and it just stopped running. It'd cool down for a while and I'd be able...
I've been having issues off and on with my jeep starting. it's a 94 4.0. It'll turn over but won't start. It'll start if I hold the gas, but as soon as I let off the gas, it will die. If I keep it started by holding the gas for a little, it'll stay running. It's not an alternator issue. Maybe...
I haven't been wheeling in quite a while. I went to change my Tcase fluid and I found this! lol. My ride is stock with a RE 3.5" lift. the boot is effed up cuz it was laying on my exhaust.
My headlights won't turn on. It's not a problem with the bulbs. When I pull the highbeam lever on, they will turn on, but don't stay on. The running lights work and everything. Just not the headlights. Anyone know?
Well, I'm living in Baker City, OR. Drove down from Alaska a few days ago. Just thought I'd introduce myself.
I have a 94 Jeep Cherokee
3.5" RE lift
And that's pretty much it for now.
Just got a 3.5" lift and the pinion angle is all effed up. Gotta drop the transfer case about an inch and I need shims. Unfortunately, I live in alaska so everything takes a XXXX-ton longer or more expensive to ship up here (shims-$32; Fedex 2day air~$50). Not paying $80 for a set of shims. I'm...
