I GOT A 1991 CHEROKEE 4.0 , I REBUILT THE MOTOR AND OVER THE LAST YEAR I HAVE TORN DOWN A 1989 AND A 1991 SO I HAVE A SLEW OF DIFFERENT CRAP FOR DIFFERENT YEARS .... I NEED TO SEE IF ANYONE HAS AND DIAGRAMS OR SCHEMATICS OR PICS OF THE CORRECT BRACKETS AND WAY OF MOUNTING THEM ON THE 1991...
Wanting to know if there's differnce between the motors and how the hook up to the tranny and if a 92 long block will work in a 91 xj with a 91 tranny??? Kinda lost and frustrated because the only thing I've found is the pilot bore is differnt between the two years cranks but its not very clear.
Thinking of purchasing a powertorqe long block from a local auto parts store and wondering if anyones used this brand or knows anything of it... 1991 l6 242 4.0 motor just don't feel like rebuilding it myself.
Got a 1991 xj with 4.0 I'm looking to be making my own custom exhaust from header to tail end... my question is do I need to have my o2 sensor a certain physical distance on mt exhaUst or can it be anywere before the cat... I'm in cali so I gotta smog her when I get it going again...
I just purchased a 1991 xj and got a motor from a friend out of a 1989. My concern is that it won't work out ... anyone got any comments on this?? Thanks

That is a great point so what kit would be prefured by NAXJA per-say? im new to the crawling scene...i mean i ride and shoot but i havent ever done 4x4 so i want to get the right set up the first time..i just want a moderate crawler that can be street legal and not brake the bank..
IM LOOKING TO LIFT MY XJ I JUST BOUGHT AND IM WANTING TO KNOW EVEYONES OPINION ON LIFT KITS... LONG ARM KITS OR WHATEVER ANYONE WANTS TO CALL THEM...MY PERSONAL PREFRANCE IS RUSTYS 8 INCH LONG ARM KIT... BUT ANY SUGGESTIONS..? THANKS MIKE.
