My M416 restomod/hole to throw money in

I found a cheap M416 with a hideous wooden box on it on craigslist last december and brought it home. I knew it was a mess, but I only paid $350 for it and I knew I could part it out for that and then some if it was really bad. So we brought it home on the trailer. It's a 60's era trailer...

The Attica Family Campground is owned by the Badlands now, so just a quick change for those of you camping this weekend. Sites 10-34 are free NAXJA camping sites. Those sites are at the end of the road in front of the bathhouse and all of the sites on the road behind the bathhouse. The...

    Trail Rides

Matt and I discussed this briefly the other day. I know that the length of trail rides and the size of the groups is a topic every year. I'd like to see us develop some trail rides that are long enough to be interesting and short enough to have fun. With the new entrance to the quarry and the...

As NAXJA evolves into the social media world, the BOD is looking to use Twitter to link the club to our land use organizations, to promote membership in the club and to show off what we do for fun and how we make it happen. #TrailTuesdays is Jeep's way of showing off Jeeps in the outdoor world...

    Cabin #10

I have a reservation for cabin #10 that I won't need when we switch to the rooster's nest that came available. If someone wants it, let me know, otherwise I'm just going to cancel it on Monday and let you guys go gladiator style on it.

    MWC UA

Let's say you wanted to plan your own Ultimate Adventure. Where would you go? What would you want to see? A couple rules: 1. 10 days, 5 wheeling days, 5 driving days 2. Primitive camping, except for the night before the first day 3. Everything to camp, repair or eat fits in the jeep or the...

    37" tire

I need a spare worthy 37" tire if anyone has one laying around. Worn tread ok, no sidewall damage. 15 or 17 is ok. I have 15" rims, but if someone has a 17 I'll buy a wheel.

    Cheap 15" wheels 5 on 5.5

Does anybody have 4 cheap wheels laying around? The narrower the better. Something like a 15x6 or 15x7 that will fit over the hubs, like something from a CJ. I'm doing a mileage experiment towing the jeep and I'm trying to get it as low behind the truck as possible. I don't want to spend a...

    '05 F250 Bumper light bar

First step, own a 2005 F250 with factory fog lights ;) KD Fabworks bumper brackets and 1 20" single row Smashole light bar. No idea why you would laser cut your logo upside down. Remove bumper. Remove factory fog lights. Test fit brackets and light bar. Do a little grinding.

    XJ engine swap feasability

So in one of my bored on a saturday googling for jeep things moments, I came across a post talking about the 3.5l V6 that Chrysler put in the 300m in '99, being an aluminum block and heads and doing 250 hp. A little more research told me that it was designed to be mounted longitudinally and...

    DSLR Recommendations

My wife has recently informed me that she'd like to step up from her oint and shoot into something better. I've been looking at DSLR's for a few years, but haven't pulled the trigger because of the cost. I know a few of you guys spend a lot of time taking pictures and I want to know what you...

    Help with my route

So usually I take I40 to I77 to I81 through Bristol and back down to Harlan, but that's with the F250 and a trailer jamming at interstate speeds. Google says that the route through Boone and Johnson City is only 20 minutes longer, but shorter, and I know that it's more hills and curves on...

As usual, there will be awards for the dumbest of us that think that driving or flying halfway across the country to sample Attica's finest is a good idea. Post up where you're coming from and help out the awards folks. If you don't really make it, they'll know :D 1. How you're getting there...
