Probably should be in the OE or MOD section...but... i've got an '88 xj.. can i swap my aw4/231 for a 91+ aw4/231? those would be a strat swap right? everything is plug'n play... no special whatevers...?? the early aw4's are 21 spline and the later are 23, is that correct? I was thinking about...

SO my 88 pile o'crap is now running like shizz... it starts ok...idles ok...but when giving it gas, esp in gear the thing is just sputtering and backfiring...occasionally the motor will die. I haven't a clue what is causing this...it seems like it started once it got up to "opperating"...

I'm located in the livermore/pleasanton area...and want to take a day trip this weekend....Two very capable jeeps will be going....but we aren't sure were to go.... we know of Karnagie...(however you spell it), Hollister...but those aren't too exciting... Rubicon is a bit far/long to do in a day...

If anyone has the T-case linkage...I really need it... Mine was damaged recently...and i'm having a pretty hard time finding it. It will be for a '88xj, four dour. 231/231 combo...but any linkage should work. Its the shifter linkage....Please help....Thanks
