Just wanted to inform that it maybe has a bit more power in mid range, no max power increase, mpg is the same. No improvement.

Maybe unplug the hose that goes to brake booster. Close the hose with tape or something to make it 'hermetic', and check if it helps. Also it may be the orings on fuel injectors. Use brake cleaner spray or something similar and spray there to check. Your EGR is working?

No, the build up in the head exhaust ports is black. it looks grey because of LED light from my phone. And on the valve stems is a bit reddish.
