Dude i just go to Firestone. Paid $150 for lifetime alignment. Take it in everytime after I wheel for no extra. In fact its there right gettin one done. Done it about 10 times in the last 3 or 4 years for no extra charge other then the initial 150.

Sorry i am not that knowledgable about axles yet. I understand D44's are stronger but I beat the hell out of mine and i've never had a problem with the 8.25. I did some reading about it and heard a 29 spline 8.25 is pretty strong. I just have this feeling if I put new axles in, then im gonna...

Hmmm...IVe been running 35's with stock gears for over a year now. Havent had a problem with overheating or anything, just very sluggish. When I get back from deployment next year, i will re-gear. 4.88. Just diffs has 4.88 for the 8.25 now.
