Sounds like the rear wheel bearings. If they did not hear it on a lift or by jacking up the rear and putting in in drive then it is related to the weight of the vehicle.
So your issue is the same as mine. turn on the jeep, open the hood, open the drivers door and then stand next to the engine bay in front of the drivers door so you can see the engine bay and grab the steering wheel at the same time.
Now look at the steering shaft right by the brake reservoir...
Did you get this figured out yet?
I had the same issue once and replaced the coil and boom fixed. I had what looked like good spark but apparently it was weak for not getting to all the plugs.
I had the crankshaft sensor go bad as well but that one was a totally different issue it died and...
Totally agree.
My 2007 Cobalt SS dynoed at two places first one was 248 wheel and second was 194 wheel.
Went back to the 194 shop after dropping the pully and injectors we dynoed at 238 wheel.
No two dyno's and shops are the same!
WyoCherokee So are the 200 dollar one good to go? I am limited on my budget as I have already bought items for an extra 1.5 inches of lift so the HnT was in my budget.
So I just threw some 33's on my 94 auto. Still running the 3.55 gears.
At 65 I am running at 1850 RPM.

Going up and over steep bridges on the freeway with a couple of those hills I turn 45 degrees in the bend I can make it with just a little more gas but rarely do I drop out...
99 I get what your saying but I have heard of just as many stories of the cheaper short shaft kits going bad the stories of the hack n tap snapping....
I think I'll go hack n tap for the simple fact that my tcase seems to be happy and I hate to tick it off by opening it up.
Oh and another Q...
Death wobble is caused by three factors and one is really hard to get right....
1. your tires... I could not for the life of me figure this crap out but I took them back and one was bad, had a slipped belt... so why did they not catch it to begin with??. This fixed it for about 20k and the...
Thanks for the info!!!
The angle would be no different than now considering the current shaft output is at a steep angle. Also the skinny shaft would be better supported by the cone.... because that does make sense...
When you say a legitimate hack and tap you mean there is a particular brand...
So I have the 231 with the cone. My question is, which I have looked every where and not found anyone with this idea, is to not hack... I mean buy the hack and tab for a 232 but leave the cone in place and drill out what is there.
I ask this because I have heard that seals on the cone...
For those that do not know there is a meetup.com group Houston JeepPeople. I go to the monthly up in Conroe at Papa's on the lake. Would love to see a few more XJ's there. There is another one in Spring by the new 99/45. The schedules come out pretty frequently.
I am mentioning because I do...
