Haven't been eaten yet. Internet is only available close to town. Taking a few sce if trails Today try to get time to upload and post this weekend. Tomorrow am we head north to glacier. We hear they got some weather up there.
In Butte Montana, the other rig with us had issues on I90 at the Continental Divide summit and had to pull over in the truck pulloff... after 45 minutes of letting it cool all was fine coming down the mountain.
Gonna see about a local Jeep dealer and a WJ intake insulation shield... unless...
Dont be fooled its not mint. It has its issues. Although its not nearly as bad as most of them out there! Looking for a MJ 44 for the rear and a non disco 30 for up front. Im going with 355's. Thats about the extent of whats needed on this DD. Besides an ax15 and a stroker down the road...
I have managed to get a few things done to the MJ. I installed the rear cargo light and factory fog light/ cargo light switch bezel. Installed a ranger tri fold tonneau cover. Put on new bilsteins up front, along with upper CA's. Found a comp/temp rear view mirror at the yard and installed that...
I mounted my light yesterday. Looks good I'll haveto take some pics. Also put on a tri fold tonneau cover. I have a light in line for ken should get it next week or so. I'll let you know if find another and I'll let you know High2by.

Ken, there is a plug for the switch behind the dash, I was looking on the wrong side. I got it connected works fine.
The back side of the scrambler hard top works great with an MJ cargo light, I tested it for fit. Fits great. Im going to have to think about that ken haha. I will have a couple...
GJEEP, thany you. After searching I found the wiring all tucked away. Even had a piece of paper saying cargo light switch. Its all working fine, I havent installed the light yet because I will need to remove the rear topper. I wonder what that other switch is for. I guess XJ's had this harness...
I cleaned the wire connection for the IAC and tps.. same thing.. Cleaned the two connections on the fuel pump resistor and now it runs fine.

I just tried starting the jeep to head to work this morning and it starts fine revs up to 2000 rpm and dies right away. I havent done any work to the jeep this past weekend besides a cargo light switch and an exhaust clamp. I noticed a vac leak and saw a disconnected line from the EGR valve and...
