So are the "ugly" wheels you mentioned on the first page the stock wheels or the other ones that are on it now? Looking good.

I can't easily copy and paste here at work (to give you a link)...but look at a photo of a Willys Overland Wagon. That's what he's going for.

There's a pic of one (poster's vehicle, I think), on jeepsunlimited, and it has a raised fiberglass top like a conversion van. It's hideous. VERY hideous.

Yeah, those are the silvers....the gray are more gunmetal colored. I thought they came in a gold/tan/khaki color, too. I don't think chrome was a factory option, though....

I like the "hammertone" gray look.....plus a lot of lift stuff seems to be the same color. You're the green XJ with the 31's and black flares, right?

Some people feel the need to put a "Jeep" motor into a Jeep. I'd go LS, if it was me....

If you're really stuck on these wheels and they're an awesome deal.....there's always spacers to "change" your bolt pattern. I think they might make the tire/rim sit even with the flare, but the tire size should fit.

I believe he cut the "handle" part of the door handle off, but the button and all the hardware INSIDE the door is probably fine and works just like stock.... Correct me if I'm wrong...and that is one sweet Comanche.

I totally would not wanna pull that boat with a lifted XJ, though....yikes. Those wakeboard boats are friggin' heavy.

But that would negate the "bolt in" aspect of it......
