Finally Buying a Welder (Advice Needed)

I'll reiterate what I said in another thread. I have the ESAB 215ic and I love it. It seems like it fits the bill for what you're looking for. It's 220 but runs on 110 as well, so you have a lot of flexibility.

    Looking at buying a TIG

I have an ESAB as well and would highly recommend it. I've only had it for about 2 years now so I can't attest to its longevity beyond that, but so far I've put quite a few hours on it and it's worked flawlessly. Plus it's an American company, and I like that :us:

    Which LCA is best?

x3, or whatever for MetalCloak. I'm running their upper and lowers and they ride pretty great, make no noise at all, and are truly, very strong.

    2000 Honda Recon 4 Wheeler

Just to vouch for the sale, I have this exact 4 wheeler, and it's one of the best machine's I've ever owned. As reliable as a rock. To this day, it still amazes me that even after sitting for an entire season, I turn on the key and TAP the starter and it fires right up and purrs like a kitten. I...

    2001 Ignition Coilpack upgrade

It's supposedly a hotter spark. Hence, performance upgrade. Not that I think you stand to gain much by upgrading the ignition on a mostly stock motor with an already good ignition system. But it can't hurt.

    Banks Revolver Header....CRACKED!!!

I've had good luck with my Clifford header. It's been about 5 years and it's still in good shape.

H4 led head light kits..... Thoughts?

LOL, you're right! My bad, Talyn. But my point remains. Argue with the data sheet? I've got some on the way. I don't have a lumen-o-meter, but I have an SLR and know how to use it. So at least I can get some apples to apples comparison pics.

H4 led head light kits..... Thoughts?

Look, I realize you're super sensitive about this subject, considering how much time and money you've dumped into your projector set up, but don't go finding reasons to trash the idea when you don't know much about it. First of all, like I said, one of those led's can put out 2200 lumens, easy...

H4 led head light kits..... Thoughts?

You do realize that 85*C is 185*F, right? Also, do you realize that the bulbs in question are using TWO led's per bulb? And if you read the data sheet, you would see that those numbers are at .35amp. At ~40 volts they would be putting out 2200 lumens... each. Oh, and that number is at 85* C...

Do NOT mess with this guys mountain dew!

Reminds me of this. Definitely don't question this guy's cut of pig. http://www.stltoday.com/news/local/crime-and-courts/st-louis-police-jennings-man-shot-uncle-to-death-over/article_a281ed60-fc21-11e1-b1fc-001a4bcf6878.html

    Duck Dynasty

The president and CEO of Skyjacker Suspensions has gone on record as saying that they support Phil and will continue to sponsor Duck Dynasty. I've never been a big fan of Skyjacker products, but I will say, they do look better now. And maybe I've just grown up around very "crude" people, but...

    23andMe anyone?

First of all, I'm curious if anyone else here at NAXJA has partaken in the genomic testing service offered by 23andMe. I have, and it was worth every penny. I've spent hours looking over my results, especially the ancestry portion of the results. Turns out, my dad is in the 99th percentile for...

    Flexalite vs random brand fans?

Really. And on top of that, I've never seen any of my 4.0 friends' e-fans fail either. It happens, obviously, but in my experience they're very reliable.
