Jeep got broken into again! I need to get a replacement window(and lever) for passenger side vent window. What best source? I got a used one last year and those guys sucked.

I never liked the lower oil press. of 10/30, the 4.0 runs hot and seems to like 10/40 better - if I know I'm gonna be running in hot weather lots, I'll even run 20/50.

My 92 XJ needs the A/C recharged,(no cold air blowin), and it is R12, not R134a, a friend has a few cans of R12 to give me, I've never recharged A/C, could I get some pointers/directions? Thanks,

Hey I put new rotors on and pads and no squeaks for two days and stop great, then squeak! I did not put the little pad "shims" on, two for each pad (1 per ear) marked .10, .15,.20 and .25 - I'm not sure where to measure distance from, directions kinda sketchy. Any hints? Guess I'll pop pads out...

you guys are right - the damn Brute Stop pads did warp rotors! pads looked FINE w/ lotsa meat left though. I got $39 OEM NON China rotors and Bendix RV pads, put all together yesterday, and they work great! Even gave me these little.10, .15, .20, .25 spacers to use on pads between calipers...

I've got warped rotors from Brute Stop pads(I beleive they overheat rotors) , and am going to go to diff. pad tomorrow, how are ceramics? Am just curious, why is it when i park my XJ for a week or so, I go to start it up and WHAM, like first tap of ignition, starts right up? Not the usual 4-5 cranks. Kinda weird?>?????

Mine runs great, shows approx 15-16 mpg since I put 30x9.5's on it - was just curious when to change the 02 sensor? And oh yeah since 120K EXACTLY my "Check Maint" light(the one on a timer to be reset by dealer) has been on. Thanks, Heinz

Try a C Clamp or get the shafts to a vise? Worked for mine.
