It's not a race car (xj) so you really don't need rear swaybar. I drove for awhile without front one, it was ok. but recomend keeping it if you drive on the street 80% of the time. Just make your own quick disconects. search around there are plenty easy ways to make it happend.

Yea, you can put 31x10.50 on the stock wheels, that's what i run with 4.5" lift, they do look really small with that much lift, but with 3 you be perfect. Stock rim i think is 7" wide so tires only 4.5" wider then the rim, it would work good. I think that most of the people who got 31's are...

Just take it off, and you will never know the difference, and like XJWheelie said use the brackets fro the shocks, i am about to do that. There are couple write ups about it so just do that and you made your old swaybar usefull for something.
