    Renix Fuel Pump Failed with 3/4 tank of gas

    I did my 92 with probably 3/4 tank and it was ok. Fuel was close to the bottom of the hole but didn't come out.

    I never could find the Mopar tool J22248 so I used the method you mentioned. Partially installed HB and tightened down TC cover bolts, no leaks so far.

    Thanks for the info, I guess I'll look for a junk compressor for cheap or free to stick on.

    I could but I was wondering if the Cherokee's without A/C use a shorter belt from the factory. If that belt was shorter I could remove the compressor and put the short belt on.
