I may replace my timing gearset on a rebuilt motor, I know nothing about the build, the motor was bought when I was in a tight spot getting my wheels on the road.
I have been reading that these timing gear sets have differences over the years, even with the updated chain designs and linkage...

Yes they have an upstream 02 in the down pipe and down stream after the cat.
What about a left handed drill bit? Depending on how far the o.p. has this ting broken off into the knuckle, I would try it before the easy out (I'm assuming its unlikely op has access to a dang good easy out).
I wonder if it matters which bolt broke? If the bottom bolt is toast and you were...
Narrow contact patch will put more pressure on what tread meets the ground, that's greats for mud and snow if I'm not mistaken. Dont forget that when wheeling and aired down that sidewall tread begins to make contact with terrain. I think you'll be happy with the road manners of that tire/size...

I'm a little confused, are you under the impression my transmission is not being run through a cooler? To clarify My transmission is running into two small coolers, just not through the rad.

The cat is after the cross member, and yes the down pipe has a donut. In my case its a banks gasket and its not the same as the stock ones. I'm not sure if its specially made or simply a step up for their header, but ide like to have a downpipe that will match the ID the header is kicking out...
I would do that, there's actual a similar one that's a bit smoother on ebay, and just a little more money, but I already burned the catalytic converter on. If I bought that down tube I'd be cutting it in half pretty much.
