Thought i'd share the new rig..

As long as you measure on a surface perpendicular to the steering axis/kingpin axis and parallel to the direction of travel, you should be fine. The top of the balljoint is good as long as you clean the gunk off first.

I'v put under 900 miles on this rig the past year, inspection just ran out and i'll be dropping it off this week.

I'v lost interest in this rig, looking to work a trade for a clean stockish 5.9 or 5.2 Limited ZJ.

I'm just outside Philly, post up or PM if you have any interest.

SUP JOHN!

I can see the desire for a 5.9 ZJ. I've always wanted one.

Sometimes when you lose motivation, you're just done. Take a break for a while and come back with a fresh rig. You'll be all pumped up again.

Quite possible you'll remain a club of one there pal.. ;)

threw in a new fuel pump into the 96 5 speed disco my buddy picked up for 500 bucks... runs like a top!

Another Jeep gone, sold the 98 a few months back to a local Jeepers wife.. I hear she's loving her new rig. Sold off the RTT for a new option.

The new rig and camper.. I'm thinking I should be happy this time around. ;)

Andy I guess you just love those darn ZJs, huh? Had a Niner myself some years ago, but eventually sold it & bought something with a real frame (Durango). Kinda sorry I did (sold the ZJ I mean). Anyway, lemme remind you sir ... this is the NAXJA, not the NAZJA:exclamati

:laugh3:

I think you have the wrong Jeep nut Lavern... Thats OK though, I did my stint with a Grand Cherokee too, but it was a WJ. I got rid of that though, and now have a 99 Toyota 4Runner :anon: There is something about having a full frame...

This is John Bellerbys long-running post.

BTW John, that is a very clean ZJ!! Best of luck with it.

Looks good! I've always liked the ravines on a ZJ. Which conversion parts are you looking for?

I took the 31's on Ravines in as partial $$ on my 33's on Canyons.. in a heart beat. I'd like to find someone parting an early 93.. get the AW4 bits.

That ZJ looks really clean

I have a ZJ 242 with HnT SYE if you need it

This rig has a 231.. my first. It's not as clean as it looks, typical front hood and lower hatch edge rust on this. It was a bud's, since 40K miles. I put in a new 42RE from Chrysler about 80K ago.

20+ years in an XJ, I prefer the ZJ over the WJ and WK here. I wanted another.. im happy I got one that I'm so familiar with.

The Jeep is sitting on 2" spacers and 31" Grabber AT2, new control arms and TB up front. Bilstein's all around.

The camper gets torn to the frame and rebuilt come winter. I'll start a thread for it.
