PS: whoever it is... you drive too fast. lol If that XJ had wings there's no way it would have stayed on the ground... :)

I recognize that stretch of "highway hell". Those craazy people will run you over running 90 on that road!

That would be I-85 period. Especially Charlotte to Greensboro.

Good friend of mine nailed it best a couple of years ago..."On I-85 you have to drive to survive" lol.

Ever driven I-95 from Richmond to DC? Holy crap... They can make 85 look like a walk in the park.

Which Fairlawn? Pulaski or Covington. If Pulaski then that is Drew(TrailratedMJ) he's not on here much anymore or on the local boards. He is a real nice guy so say hello if you see him.

Pulaski. I though Drew had an XJ. Or maybe I'm thinking of another Drew.

He did, he bought the MJ about 2 years ago and took all of his lift/stuff off of it and built the MJ. I thought he had moved out of the area, last time a talked to him was over a year ago and he was living in Snowhill. He installed a remote start on one of my XJ's at his house for me. He was the only one at Scotty's that I would let do any install work on the Heeps. When he left there I talked him into doing some side work for me.

Here is Drew's MJ

For some reason that just stikes me as if it came from the desert...

There are a lot of guys around here (within the 3 surrounding countys) that drive lift Cherokees. Some rather nice.

I've stopped some of them and asked if they were on NAXJA and they just looked at me like I was crazy. lol I try to promote. It just doesn't work.

Maybe he was there checking out the sand traps.

Blueish/Green late model XJ, looked about a 97 or 98 year. Lift, roof rack, and sitting on Canyons with a SC tag. I was sitting in the left turn lane next to you at the light on Carowinds Blvd near I-77 and Mcdonalds right on the NC/SC line in a Black Acura this morning. Didn't realize it was a NAXJA member until you pulled ahead of me and I saw the sticker in the lower right corner of the rear window. Very nice Jeep!

Who are you!?

That reads like one of those "lost opportunity" ads in the back of the free weekly circulars!!

"To the man in the Green Jeep: You passed me near the McDonalds. You were in your big truck and I was in my car. We shared a glance. I want to see you again. Please call me. Ask for Tim." :roflmao:

Just giving you crap Tim!!! Always fun to bump into a NAXJA member out on the road!

I keep seeing a dude in a lifted red XJ (late-model) in the NW Raleigh area (near Glenwood and Milbrook/Lynn) and exchange waves at least once a week. Must live in the neighborhood given the frequency.

I drive a lifted black XJ on Moab's with a Slimline rear bumper (w/ tire carrier).
