Guys I'm re painting undercarriage parts. Steering and springs are done.
I ask here as maybe locals have had better luck with paints/ coats, layers, methods, per what our vehicles are exposed to in CO. For instance I'm in severance and I've noticed a lot more rust showing after this year.
Thus far I've done a good clean down sanding + acetone cleaning. Then a good coat of rustoleum self etching primer and then rattle can rustoleum paint.
Ide like to get some coating on most of the body under + that tar undercoating spray, really anywhere I'm seeing roadwear or rust. Of course after adressing any rusty bits first.
While I know good painting is all in the prep work, if there's anything anyone would like to suggest I'm all ears.
Thank you for your time,
Matt
