oops sorry about that. Anyways i know that regular Grand cherokee coils lift an XJ 1" in the front but what about v-8 coils? Right now i have 2" coil spacers in front and my springs are some beat 2.8V-6 units i found in my buddys backyard. the only reason i used them is they were less beat than my original 220,000 mile springs! Anyways im looking for a cheap way to get a little more out of the front end and a i really want a stiffer spring rate also. Im thinking that the 5.9 springs would be shorter than the 5.2 version because the 5.9's were more street performance oriented right?Anyways any help you guys can give would be greatly appreciated - Thanx-Aaron
Its my understanding that the v8 coils, regardless of engine, usually give 1 to 1.5" lift...
I just put the v8 coils on mine and I havent measured but it still looks like 2". I need to check again...I put them on a week ago!
They lifted at least 1.5". I got used ones locally from a 'yard. Very glad i did. Is stiffer on the ride, but not overly stiff and offers way better control. Have to match it with UC rear springs to get proper balance. Judd
